How does Incogex work?

Incognex is an fast and anonymous cryptocurrency exchange service. Start by choosing the cryptocurrency pairs you wish to exchange (e.g. Bitcoin to Monero), how much you want to send, and we provide you with an instant quote.

Next, simply follow the instructions and send the crypto you wish to swap to the wallet address provided. As soon as the transaction is confirmed, you'll receive your coins to the destination wallet address provided.

What do I need in order to make an exchange?

You'll need a cryptocurrency wallet (or wallets) capable of sending and receiving each of the cryptocurrency pairs you're looking to exchange.

That's it. We don't require an email address or any other details from you.

How long does an exchange take?

It varies according to the crytocurrency pairs you are swapping given the variation in block times between different cryptos, as well as the transaction fee you have used.

The average exchange time ranges from 5 to 30 minutes. You will be given real-time updates on the status of your exchange. If you don't want to wait, simply save your order ID and come back later to check its status via the exchange page.

What happens if I send the wrong amount of cryptocurrency?

Either we'll simply adjust the exchange amount according to what you sent, or we'll provide a full refund (minus transaction fee) to the address you send the crypto from.

Misc

What data do you collect from users?

Nothing apart from the minimal amount of information required from the swap (i.e. cryptocurrency wallet addresses). We don't require any form of registration or personal data at any stage of the process.

If you submit a support ticket then we'll ask for an email address to allow us to respond.

Can I buy or sell cryptocurrency for fiat currency?

Sorry but we don't offer this service and don't plan to. If we did it would de-anonymize you and that's not what we're about.
